Over the course of 120 years, RAFI has grown to become an international high-tech company. We owe this accomplishment to the people who have contributed their knowledge and dedication to the undertaking since the founding of the company in 1900. The focus has always been on a singular topic: responsibility. Responsibility for our products, for our solutions, for society, and for the environment. That is also why sustainability has always been a key component of our culture. Sustainability is not a static state. It demands a long-term view and must be driven by targeted processes. Every individual, and therefore every company, can and should make a meaningful contribution through their daily actions. You can find out how this is reflected at RAFI in our sustainability report.
The RAFI Group has opted for a sustainability assessment with the world's leading provider EcoVadis. This rating guarantees independent monitoring of our activities across the broad spectrum of sustainability as well as a better understanding of our overall CSR performance in the four areas assessed (environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement). This enables us to continuously optimize our company's contribution to sustainable development and drive forward our measures in a targeted manner.
Thanks to the implementation of additional measures, we were able to increase our overall score compared to 2023 and thus made it into the top five percent of companies in the industry assessed by EcoVadis. This is rewarded by EcoVadis with the gold medal.
